dixie, the POD still has takeoff listed at 11:30EDT, 1530Z, so the first datasets will be coming in around 11:20 and the plane is scheduled to make the center around 1800Z, or 2pm eastern, just in time for when the intermediate advisory would be issued if Cuba decides to put up some warnings here by the 11am advisory.

This thread will be without a sticky as the many replies it will have will cause it to be up at the page all the time.

Here we go...take off will occur in about 10 minutes...they are probably doing a final check of all the systems and the plane itself as I type this...

Not transmitting anything yet, so it'll be a little while longer before takeoff.

Does anyone have a link to where the every-10-minute observations are coming in? I lost my link to that in the off-season.

No transmission yet so no takeoff has occured.Unless they have a plane available that may takeoff from a place more close to the system.

I am starting to think as it is almost an hour when they were supposed to haved takenoff that this mission was cancelled due to the organization of the system that is very poor.
