Its got more things going for it than against it. Previous systems especially in the last couple of years in warm water environments have developed more times than not. A rather large area of broad circulation and my money is on further development. More difficult to place a track on it though should LL center develop east or west of estimated position. Will be interesting to watch.

My opinions only.

I concur.

Actually, this has more things going for it than a couple of the named systems from last year.

However, it's so early in its development that it's much to early to say where it will go. The models say some northward movement (US Gulf Coast landfall... somewhere) and climatology will agree. However, until this system gets its act together, it's much too difficult to say.

I'm not a pro met, but from what I have gathered...these are my ideas on where it might end up:

FL = 45% chance

AL/MS = 30% chance

LA/TX = 20% chance

NO U.S. Impact = 5% chance
