This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Models showing a feature near the Bahamas late this week

Well I am going to wait for that feature to appear first and then if it is there start the discussion from there but I am bringing to your attention that some models are hinting of a disturbance near the Bahamas by late next week.Right now there is an upper to mid level low north of Puerto Rico that has some scattered convection but will this area be the feature the models are talking about?Let's wait and see if the models continue to show that area in their next runs.

One of the models that shows that feature by late next week is the very good european model UKMET and for that reason I am interested in this information that the models are saying about this to see if the others go with UKMET.

Also, a small area of low pressure this morning in the SW Caribbean. This is an area that always can produce an early storm. Bill will come before the month is out. Cheers!!

These features in the Atlantic Basin sound interesting, even if nothing comes from them in the next several days.

Ok, tell me I am crazy, but this morning I do not see the feature N of the Bahamas. However, I do find it interesting that at least one model shows a feature coming out of the NW Caribbean about 10 days out.

As I said until I see something out there I wont jump to discuss anything that still is not there. But yes i also haved seen that same thing you haved seen David but again until that feature appears in reality all is speculation about what the models show but let's see what the next runs show about this.
