I remember when Arlene was making landfall I was standing at the end of the pier on Pensacola Beach getting slammed in the face with waves and wind, can't believe it's been a year since then.
I hope everybody has a safe season this year and that the areas that were devestated during the past 2 years get a break, and the areas that have been lucky in the past 2 years are lucky again this year.

Working on that. Already got a place to stay if a storm threatens us. DH has to stay here but I am leaving with the girls. Have the plywood already pull out and laying in the garage. Generator is working. Insurance cards etc. Pictures of house, boat, cars, and personal belongings inside. I am ready but hoping for nothing!

haaaaa, saw you all on the news. The police eventually came and got you all off. Some were watching Arlene from the upper deck of CRABS on the beach.

Yes, it does seem as if we are just recovering from Wilma. I feel as if I still haven't caught up on all my sleep from last year~
Hi Lynn and welcome back -- stay safe in SW Fla.
