No problem at all, Cindy, like I said, I had 5 there counting me. As far as that call it was an attempt to contact others that I'd lost and tell 'em to come to the Frat House...but hey, it was all good...Glad to hear you're feeling better.

I can't wait to see the pics... Storm2k Girls Gone Wild! lol
Frick & Fly (Kathy & Mary) called me last night and I talked to them and Linda and I think a quick hello to LSU_Weatherguy? It sure sounded like a GREAT TIME and I'm just sorry I missed it. I will make it to one one of these days though...no doubt about that!

I went and saw him at the mall. The thing that stuck out with me is that the people there were so nice compared to the people that come into my Wal-Mart who are grumpy, frumpy, and mean. They had a Q&A session, and I asked him about the comparison between what happened on "Katrina, The Lost Episode" and what really happened. I got a lot of stuff including a map. I had a great time.

I finally made it home! Bre and I stopped off for lunch in baton rouge, went to another restaurant and picked up dinner. No cooking for us tonight...i'm exhausted.
Mary....you left this morning without telling us goodbye. You forgot your gift and tshirt.
Loretta dahling...how is your head this morning? It was a pleasure meeting you. You were alot of fun! Aimee (ayemay) and nicole were quite hilarious also. Nicole...that Italian guy was still on bourbon street looking for you!
Linda....your head has got to be pounding today. I think you were trying to keep up with brad!
Cindy, hope you continue to feel better. And don't get sick for the next time.

Pictures from the 15th floor of the Holiday Inn, and a few from Bourbon St. Sorry, but I didn't take any of the group as my camera is a little bulky and I didn't want to carry it around all night.

Oh, okay. I had to work from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday that is why I did not get to go. Plus, hours got cut at work and money is extremly tight for me right now. Otherwise, I would of been there in a heartbeat. I really miss everyone and had a great time last time. I hope to do it again.LaPlaceFF wrote:cajungal wrote:Did you go to the gathering Laplace? I went to the hurricane expo at the Clearview mall around 11 am. I had to be at work for 4 pm.

Sorry Kathy and Bre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aimee didn't tell me she had to be at work at 1:00 pm until last night, after a few drinks....goofy girl and ya'll know that is true...she really is a blond before she puts all that red crap on her hair
We got up at 9:45, Loretta had already hauled butt back to Ocean Springs and we walked down to Walgreens cause I lost my sunglasses AGAIN and couldn't drive home without something.
We got home at 12:45 after stopping in Biloxi so I could go TT and get a burger real fast. She took a kitty kat bath (gave it a lick and a promise, especially those nasty feet!) and changed clothes and took off for work. She is doing a floor set so just moving the entire store around so will be sweating anyway.
My phone doesn't work worth crap on the interstate, I need to buy a new one, I bought that one when we evacuated for Ivan year before last and just haven't gotten around to getting another one.
Man, we had a BLAST and I needed that sooooooooooo bad. It was so much fun to walk around and go in places that didn't have signs of being torn up by Katrina. I know there were some places that weren't open but it wasn't that noticeable in the Quarter, now on the way in it looked really sad.
LSU and Aimee and Nicole walked to Krystals at 3:30 am and got some Krystal chicks and Krystal Burgers and some fantastic french fries, I was starving!! The girls crashed around 4:15 and it was daylight before I went to sleep...my legs were cramping soooo bad, but it was worth every minute! Oh yea, had to wake Loretta up to eat...I got some good shots of her asleep, BLACKMAIL for work!!!
I think Aimee's first experience with Bourbon Street was a real winner and I was glad that I could be there to see her and have fun with her.
OHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ya'll don't know.....Aimee, Nicole and Senor went to the FRAT House...they must have missed you A2K or were tooo drunk to see you clearly. Anyway when they left the girls took Senor to a strip club....I am laughing so hard right now!!!! Ya'll will have to come to the chat room to hear the story, cause I can't post it on here
In closing this long winded post, it was great getting to meet everyone and I enjoyed myself extremely and I know I can speak for the other 3 "girls" that were with me. I counted 19 at the table and that was without A2K and his group. So it was a big group and Linda did a fantastic job keeping us together.
Oh Linda, that guy had a big a$$ nose...I think you were too drunk (or in your words toe'up..thats tore up, wasted, drunker than cooter brown for the ones that aren't from Mississippi. But man could he sing and play the guitar and the girl did a fantastic job on Janice Joplin.
I have spent the last hour installing new camera software so I can upload pics and am going to get Bud (my son who was mad cause he wasn't invited) to help me up load them. When I get finished I will post a link.

Hi everyone...Trish and I are just getting home at 9:00pm. After checking out, we had to get something to eat so we went to Denny's! LOL There was actually a wait at Denny's! We then went up to Trish's brother's house in Hammond and spent the day up there. Trish kept falling asleep so we figured it was finally time to come home.
We ended up calling it a night around 4 a.m. and returned to our room. Trish and I figured out our total, and we spent appx $140 in alcohol alone. We can't do that too often! We're both feeling fine, and we didn't even have a hangover. Actually, I felt really good today. We didn't leave the hotel until 12 noon. (We got a late checkout, but still made it out by 12) We got seperated at Krazy Korner. We left and went back to Krazy Korner but couldn't find anyone...so went to Razoo and still couldn't find anyone. We went up and down Bourbon a few times until Brad called and said you all were in Mary's room. We went to the hotel and Patrick and Steven came out the room, and we went up to there's. Trish and I really wanted to go back down to the street for some more dancing, however, we saw it was already 4 a.m. so decided to call it a night.
I saw A2K a few times during the night, but unfortunately didn't get to spend that much time with them. I will say though, A2K is a hardcore partier!!!!
I have a few pictures that I'll probably upload either later or tomorrow. Oddly enough, they kind of look like the pics from our last gathering with Brad being in almost all of them!!!
We had an outstanding time and S2K showed those hurricanes whose boss! Thanks everyone for a great time!
