Certified K-12... Science major: Astronomy, Geology, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, all at one time or another in a looooooong career... LOL... oh, and G/T, but I like my science classes, currently middle grades 7-9---yeah the FUN group :lol:

That's very kind of you CVW, and while it's certainly not the most lucrative of careers, it has rewards no money can buy. Hearing some of your former students mention you as a prized mentor delivering a valedictory address (I get chills when I remember that time), or the COUNTLESS invitations to college graduations, be they from Notre Dame, U. of Chicago, San Diego State, UCal, Auburn, I could go on, and on. It makes you feel that you've left a mark and touched so many lives.

Okay... enough of that... I'll be with a few of 'em tonight in New Orleans.

Hey, that's an EXCELLENT idea! It's a LOT closer than Hawaii, and it'll be great to meet you, Luis, MJ (caribepr), and have a gathering in the Virgin or Leeward Islands/Puerto Rico! Sounds like an AWESOME gathering and idea!

A group called Them recorded the one you're thinking about (I think). Van Morrison's group, if I recall correctly.

The Cadillacs and Laura Branigan also did songs by the same name.

How many would be interested in a week here seeing all the islands, lots of beach time, for $800 to cover all meals and lodging? Air fare would be about $600 unless you get a deal. That comes out to $200/day.
