Well to get started it looks like the East will be the wet spot in the nation again with heavier rains moving up the coast from the Gulf................This heavy rain could cause some flooding problems from Floridas Northern Gulf Coast north to NY City where there are currently numerous Flood watches going up............The NE should expect the Rain to arrive tonight and continue all day Saturday into Sunday.............Down along the gulfcoast itself there could be some isolated severe storms as well which could produce a tornado associated with part of a system moving in from the gulf..................Check out the Storm2K Tropical update pages for all the latest with the gulf system and the rest of the Tropics.....................Farther north and west out in the Midwest and Ohio Valley expect showers and thunderstorms to continue to move east with a possibility of some severe storms as well out in the Midwest.............The showers & storms should continue into tomorrow in the Ohio Valley............The northern plains will continue to see showers and thunderstorms as well with a new upper level low dropping in from Canada which will keep this part of the nation cool as well......................Out along the west coast the weather will continue to be dry and quite warm in some areas of the pacific nw like Seattle, WA and Portland, OR where temps will easily make it into the upper80s and low 90s.......................The cool place will once again be the southern CA coast where the persitant onshore flow will keep the clouds and fog in most of the day holding temps in the 60s...................The SW US looks to be very hot once again with allot of locations easily breaking the 100º mark and some desert locations going above the 110º mark...............
