storm formation
Does anybody know if there any indication in the Grey data that indicates where storms are likely to form? Am wondering about the probabilities of landfall for the Antilles islands. "above average activity in the Caribbean" covers a pretty wide area. I assume that the predictions for the east coast mean that they expect more storms to form in the central Atlantic...as these are the ones that tend to curve up to the east coast - (and hit the islands on the way)??

According to the Colorado State University folks the steering forecast if they are correct the Lesser Antilles especially the NE caribbean would be at a more higher risk of landfall as you said the islands are on the way. However those Cape Verde systems can deviate just before they strike the islands or not and that is why we have to be prepared for any eventuallity. It only takes one to do all the damage and change your life.
