That chance is about 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000001%

Only a miracle would create a storm for the 5 PM advisory, or an special advisory between 5 and 6:59 PM!!!

EDT Countdown

:uarrow: :uarrow: :uarrow: :uarrow:

When the countdown reaches 4 hours left it will be UTC time when the meterological time starts but the civil time is Eastern Daylight Time so the countdown that I am using is the EDT one.

Greetings all! Haven't posted since last season, but I guess it's about that time again (groan ... hopefully I won't have to put up shutters 3 years in a row!) Anyway, I'm down here in Jupiter FL and I'll definitely have my eyes on the east AND west since we seem to get hit by all sides in the peninsula!

Happy Hurricane Season Eve.

Wow the start of hurricane season is like waking up on the first day of school. There is a nervous excitement about it, but still you just want to get in ten more minutes of sleep. Oh well like it or not the alarm is going off can someone reach over and hit the snooze button.

Until the beginning of the '05 season, I never watched the calendar like I do now. Just seems like a couple of months ago we were taking a sigh of relief because the waters were finally cooling off enough that TS could not form. Now here we are again.... I just hope that we don't have to face the amount of storms we had to face last year. So many came and went, I can't remember most of them...
