Er, um...correction -- Big Daddy's was NOT the place I was thinking about from my last trip to NOLA four years ago.

We stayed at Astor Crowne Plaza this weekend. Pretty cool to walk right out the side door onto Bourbon Street and see what else, but Red Fish Grill! Again, a week too late and a week too early. But what can ya do! I had fun anyway, but hate that I missed the opportunity to see my weather geek buddies.

Big Bad Wolf was the place I was thinking about...and they are no longer there. It was almost as fun as Cat's Meow -- a bunch of people singing 80's songs at the tops of their lungs, while someone karaokes on stage.

We stopped there and listened. Razoo's (sp?) was my favorite.

Oh.... y'all are making me so jealous! Every time we go to New Orleans it's to do the kid things. Last year, we went down Magazine St. en route from the Zoo to the Aquarium. I think DH took a wrong turn-- though he'd be loath to admit it-- because we never went that way before. Anyway, that street looked like so much fun. I made a note to visit there sometime... maybe when we don't have to do the "kid things" so much!
I am so jealous of y'all getting to meet each other and party in the French Quarter! I guess I shouldn't complain because we are heading to Disney World shortly after that. Y'all have loads of fun!

How do you weathernap someone?
I don't know, but I'm sure it would have something to do with wrapping him up in his TWC blue jacket and hauling him down to Bourbon to teach him what a real hurricane is like.
