Take Action Live on IPR Tonight at 8pm EDT

Day 7 of 2006 Hurricane Preparedness Week we will be LIVE with a IPR special on Take Action Saturday at 8:00pm EDT. We will have a LIVE special on each day during Hurricane Preparedness Week with the following themes:

Sunday: History
Monday: Storm Surge
Tuesday: High Winds
Wednesday: Inland Flooding
Thursday:Forecast Process
Friday:Preparation
Saturday: Take Action

Steve,will ipr have audio of the press conference from NOAA at 11 AM EDT where they will announce the 2006 May hurricane season outlook?

Excellent point about the about having candles. Candles can be dangerous and start fires. We made sure that my cousins had pleanty of glow sticks and a couple flashlights. Plus glow sticks are fun for them also and sometimes the adults too... :lol:

Please join in Thursday at 9PM EDT, 8PM Central and 6 Pacific...we will discuss the forecast process and address forecast verification. Plus, we will talk about the global and track models, including some specific things that anyone following models should know about.

Also, we will announce the live guests for the season opening show on June 1st, we've got a good group of folks lined up I think.
