Hey all, i am trying to sort this weather map out if i am right if that is extreme?

LOL.. It certainly is funky looking being from down under.. A couple of week troughs with the end of a cold front as well and it's all bumping into the high pressure. But the isobars look real. Troughs from the N-NE and the low pressure connected to the front has moved south off of the map. With a front to the west. They are depicting this cold- stationanry front setting up to the west. The usage of cold fronts is rather odd with the low pressure to the south. Of course it's missing the Low symbol. The troughs are persistant in the east. They are breaking down pressures alrighty.. The strengthening low is moving away from the coast and the isobars don't look like much more than the SW coastal areas will be affected.

Aussie charts always look odd to me when I get asked about them. You just have to remember everything is backwards. :wink:

Not totally backwards but more like a mirror image but with North and South reversed instead of East and West.
