The Alley doesn't have a perfect track record, but they're not bad either. I'm not saying I agree with their May outlook or not (since no one provided the link), so I gotta look it up and see what they're talking about.

So the Alley is calling for 2.x storms including 1 IH for N FL with very few IH storm hours. Louisiana is 50% shot for a storm as is Texas. Their genesis maps and landfall writeups were better before they became a PPV site. This isn't saying anything.

That's my question too. There are hardly any pre-season forecasts this year compared to the last two years. Not even notices of when they will be available.

It does not make much sense to me. I wish they would of did it like last year. And do red for highest risk, orange for medium risk and yellow for lowest risk. They had SE LA and MS in the red for most of last year. I just don't get that crazy chart. They have Louisiana getting 4.0 storm hours but no hurricane and no major hurricane. So, I guess they are thinking that we will be hit, but by only a tropical storm. I hope we don't get hit at all because everyone needs a huge break. And it basically says that Texas will get at least 1 hurricane hit. And they also have the Carolinas getting hit by a hurricane.
