Who is keeping score this year?

Didn't a poster keep track of the number of storms in each basin? I doubt the Atlantic can top the WPAC this year.

Isn't the WPAC up 2-0 on the EPAC and Atlantic so far? Anybody keeping track of the Southern Hemisphere basins?

In 2005, the WPAC had 4 typhoons and 1 depression by the time Arlene formed, keep that in mind ;)

If you meant the scoreboard as an avatar, it was hurricanefreak1988. But it's just the Atlantic and EPAC.

For the 2005-06 Southern Hemisphere season (1 Jul-30 Jun) we have 23 Cyclones to date which is a bit below normal. The NIO is at 2 Cyclones which is a bit above normal for late May. WPAC is at 2 warned systems.

As I said there, the Western Pacific will probably return to its dominant ways, so I'm going to back to the original battle we're used to seeing- Atlantic vs. EPAC. I wonder if we'll destroy them yet again this season. 8-)
