Janice,The warm temps are being felt mainly in northern Puerto Rico because of the ESE winds prevailing for many days in this month due to the position of the subtropical ridge.Those Eastsoutheast winds crash against the central mountains and when they pass them they go downslope causing the north coast where you and me are be like a scorcher.I hope that the Easterly trade winds come soon to aliviate the heat here.

Luis, we are having them here as well. At 7 a.m. this morning it was 87 and right now, 10:30ish p.m, it's still 81. I hope those trades come in too. I'm not sure, but I think some people think we are just complaining about the heat, whereas we are thinking...it's only May and it's this hot again...we're thinking weather to come (as you know).

And this week will be hot also with no relieve in sight at least until the end of May.All of this steamy weather is without summer being officially upun us as it will arrive on June 21.
