Gray and Klotzbach on TalkinTropics

#1 Postby MWatkins » Tue May 16, 2006 7:31 pm

Please join us on Thursday for yet another edition of TalkinTropics. This week we will feature our exclusive interview with Dr William Gray and Phillip Klotzbach from Colorado State University.

We covered a lot of ground during our discussion including the current 2006 forecast, an interesting discussion between the two on differences between some of the predictors used in the forecasts, as well as an extended discussion on Global Warming.

Because there is so much we covered in the interview we are either going to divide it into two parts or edit some things down for the live broadcast. However, we will provide a full unedited audio on podweather.com soon.

So please join us on Thursday night starting at 9PM EDT, 6 Pacific on Internet Partnership Radio:

http://www.ipr365.net

Other shows this week:

Tonight 9PM EDT: Center of Circulation
Wednesday: Tropical Roundtable 9PM EDT
Thursday: Meso Show 8PM EDT

Thanks again for listening.

Awesome, Mike! I'll REALLY want to tune in! By the way, are steering patterns this year going to be discussed as well?

Keep up the good work!

You can listen to IPR and all of the shows on your cell phone.. After 9pm most cell phone plans are unlimited minutes for most as well..

IPR is broadcast on the Mobile Broadcast Network MBN

simply call 615-727-9201 press 1 then 1156

Put your cell phone on speaker if you like and listen in anytime.. :D

I thought I could listen to this online, but I get "invalid IP" or something like that. Is this a pay site/pay radio?

I have the link. But I get "Invalid IP used" when I try to access it :(

Edit: I was able to get a cached version and get the program, so it looks like I'm good. However, does anyone know why I would get "Invalid IP used" when I use that URL or the one on the top of the page?

It's really a great interview going on now with Dr Gray and Phillip Klotzbach where they are talking about what to expect for the 2006 season and all the factors including the QBO winds,SST'S and others. Also they are talking about the global warming issue.

Once again, thanks for listening in tonight. We covered quite a bit of ground beyond the CSU interview.

Here is the link to the archive. The file should finish uploading by 1:30AM EDT but I won't stay up to see it through...we went a full hour over schedule. Whoops.

http://www.tropicalupdate.com/talkintropics.htm

Look for the 5/18 program. It won't load until the file transfer completes.

Thanks again,

MW
