hypothetical evacuations, death tolls, and injuries

if a cat 1 hurricane hit guadeloupe, what would the evacuation orders be? a death toll and possible injury amount? and what would be the damage $$?

you'd be lucky to get a hurricane warning even 6 hours in advance as France does not provide much leadtime (in Marilyn, they issued the warning only after sustained hurricane force winds were recorded on the island.

Damage would be minimal, as is expected

you mean france, a country 4000 miles away gives evacuation orders for guadeloupe?

i knew it was part of france, but you would think basse-terre would send out their own evacuations

Guadeloupe is just as much a aprt of France as Hawaii is of the USA

And they only get about 6 hours notice for a hurricane warning. Standard French procedure

if a lower end cat 2 hit the north end of guadeloupe, what would the aproximate death toll/injury count be?

what damage, death toll, evacuations, and injuries would happen in jamacia, the cayman islands, and the yucatan paninsula for a cat 3 and 4?
