We're getting an excellent rain north of Tampa Bay today and it is surely welcome! All incoming from the GOM.

No rain is a bit disconcerting, however, remember some extremely dry years like 1998 and we saw no hurricane threats.


True.. but look at 2004 we were dry then to, and we had nothing but hurricane threats.

2004 was not nearly as dry as 1998 or 2001.

And lets hope you don't see any this year. I pray that Louisiana sure doesn't.
