Good wave - lots of deep reds holding together over water. Wave watching is fun.

Very nice, but low. We will start seeing them creep north as the season gets going.

I heard the ITC is a bit south of where it should be. Does this lessen the chance of Atlantic recurvature during the Capeverde period? I'm guessing we will have a lot of long trackers?

I knew the wave was gonna die but I wanted to show you guys a little something, unfortunately I wish blobs of convection can form too.

But we're gonna need something like THAT in the Atlantic to form. Not a few balls of convection.

See that long skinny cloud southwest of the CV islands? That's a cold front....tropical waves are like lemmings going over a cliff.

So you are saying this tropical wave will go over the cold front?

Way too early for a CV season--right? Don't most of our early storms start a lot closer to home? 8-) Cool link though.
