In my opinion, this has little chance of developing, at least at the moment. However, it does show some slight signs of some organization, but I doubt it will last too long.

I think we need to invest in a better INVEST later on! Still, this looks MUCH better than INVEST 91L! Oh, wait, this is actually TROPICAL in origin. How remarkable!

:D

Of course, INVEST 91L likely wasn't even subtropical... at least not quite.

Ya it looks Sickly Right now i dont have as much resouses for shear in the Western pacific so I dont know how it will do it has some curvation to it right now but not really organized at all it at only at about 4 degrees north which is ok it still can get some corrilis effect from that in that area but could be a little more norht so i'd give it a 25-55% Chance dependign on the shear as of right now.

Right now, it is an area of lower shear than surrounding areas. However, at this time of year, shear tends to be pop up quickly, so it most likely won't develop.

It looks to have nice shape to it...Also if it can develop some convection it may have a chance. Worth watching. It May in the western Pacific should be able to form something.

It is a blob of convection that is part of a trough axis. This is very similar to the eastern Pacific system a few weeks earlier. It is typical for the western Pacific at this time of year. Give the western Pacific time... it tends to fire up later on.

not really to much shape i think but more Central Deep convection would probley help establish that.

True, but I still doubt it will develop, at least at the moment.

From the JTWC:

THE POTENTIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SIGNIFICANT
TROPICAL CYCLONE WITHIN THE NEXT 24 HOURS REMAINS FAIR.
