Amazing that this topic has had three threads and this has been about a non-tropical low.

Yeah finnally. This was like spring training before the real invests pop up as this one although they issued it even before they issued it it has been non-tropical all the way without any chance to adquire tropical caracteristics at all due to unfavorable conditions.I can't think what will occur when a little thunderstorm in the Bay of Campeche appears.

I feel like we dodged a bullet... but a small
one... like a 22 short. We had gale force winds
here most of the weekend.

This system was never a threat, never had the chance to develop, so I don't feel we dodged anything.

we had 10 to 14 foot seas offshore... this was not a simple thunderstorm
I think the weather we had here was probably related to that invest in the
atlantic some how. Just glad the invest didn't get pulled this way and
amplify the weather we did have here.

I dare say it probably was just a thunderstorm, heck a decently organised Thunderstorm complex is stronger then Invest 91L was I'd bet!!!

Oh come on!!!! We also had 30 - 60mph winds this weekend with the approach of that squall line. Our strong winds were due to the big pressure gradient we had....NOTHING to do with the Invest. IT REALLY WASN'T EVEN AN INVEST!

To think our weather was due to some swirly clouds 2,000 miles away is just....I won't even say it. I give up.

Yes, it was Invest 91L to be exact, but should've never been....it had NO tropical characteristics what so ever. Did you read anything the pro mets talked about on here? It NEVER had a chance to develop. It was more of a practice run through for NRL to upload data for this season. It had NOTHING to do with the weather we had over the weekend though.

i will always remember 91L... not for what she did... rather for
what she could have done! and so so early in the 2006 season.
