MID TO UPPER CYCLONE OVER GUATEMALA AT 17N90W WITH THE
ASSOCIATED SURFACE LOW 1007 MB NEAR 19N90W. THE ASSOCIATED

Out of season discussion

I didn't know they had a tropical weather discussion now. Official NOAA hurricane season does not arrive until June 1.

A day or two ago I did note a blob on GFS in the ITCZ (currently hugging the equator) jump out and head towards Cuba and the Bahamas. It vanished in further runs of GFS.

The TWD's are issued all year, even in the middle of winter. The TWO's(Tropical Weather Outlooks) which are issued 4 times a day are only issued between June 1 and November 30.

What get on my nerves are the people disappointed that the hurricane is not coming to them. Then every wobble it makes towards them they get all happy and exited.

LOL...yea, and once that happens, all of a sudden a new thread is generated. Hopefully this season this won't happen with all the new rules and stuff.
