but still a bit low in latitude. Won't be long now before the busy season.

Indeed. I've been watching it all week, and there has been a ton of convection over Northern Africa, and just off shore NW Africa. Nothing to worry about yet, but still rather interesting that it has been so active for this time of year.

Reminds me of 2005 when there where 4 blobs over Africa. That almost gave me a heart attack

Actually ya know the First tropical wave was noticed in the atlantic on the 5th of this month.
