My computer broke
I am so mad right now. I couldn't start up my computer most of the day and I did a system recovery on the first screen that comes up. I got it reloaded and most of my files are gone. All of my favorites are gone most everything this is gone. Does anyone know anything about computers maybe the files were saved somewhere cause I will have the same amount of free space on my hard drive. Please help!!!

SouthFloridawx, I have several questions for you.
1. What type of broswer do you normally use?
2. Prior to this did you install any software on the computer that could cause this?
Anyways, this is what you could do (if any luck)... you could go to start key, click on run and you will then see a dialog with typeable text. Type in "explorer", you will see a window loading up, then hit the search key in type in "bookmarks.html" and search if you see any file named after that.
