They downgraded the months for La Nina from 3-6 months in the last March update to now in the April update 1-3 months.

Wilma was a La Nina Cane and Katrina was a Neutral One.

Well, the chances are higher for La Nina to neutral years simply because of the greater number of storms that are likely to form, although the tired cliche' that "it only takes one" certainly rang true in the strong El Nino year of 1992.

A La Nina in June would help break the record for the most storms in June. :eek:
