I completely agree. I am also fairly young.

If it wasn't for some of you during the off season posting as much as you do, this place would be dead. Keep it up...even it is crap...gives me something to read. :ggreen:

I agree with all of those comments, but it does seem that I learn a good deal when some of members get a little rude in trying to drive home a point in debate(argument).

Man, I feel old reading this thread.

You've really done nothing bad CVW. We asked you to stop bumping old threads and you've done so, so that shows that despite being 13, you're maturity level extends well beyond that.

I'm 16. I agree completely.

I'm 14 and ditto that.

Sometimes there are some unneccessary comments made toward some of the posters who are just trying to learn and are enthusiastic about the topics on the discussion board.

This is a great forum, probably the best one I know of, and I feel privlidged to be a part of.

Thanks, and I do too! :D

To both of you and everyone else: Please remember that we can't possibly read every post and we do count on you, the members, to alert us to a problematic post. We'll take care of it from there, but we do count on you guys to help us by sending a quick PM to a mod or admin. If one isn't online, send it to one or two of us and we'll handle it when we get online.

Great point. I think it is my job as a member to help out the moderators when we see that someone is causing a problem. The mods do a great job, but they cannot possibly catch everything, especially when it gets really active. I am probably guilty of not doing my part in reporting things that are not appropriate when I see them, and I am going to change that from now on to do what I can to help.

I think that it is every member's responsibility and duty to inform the mods of any problem. I have sent personal messages to several mods in dealing with problems and they have handled them quickly and very professionally. This board is a great resource and the posters are, for the most part, very knowledable. I have learned a tremendous amount of new things on this board and I am very glad it is here. I have looked around other hurricane boards and the level of expertise shown on this board is second to none. I would hate to see this forum turn into a bashing board or something that my kids could not read. I love this board and have had a wonderful experience over the last few years. I hope that the mods and members can take back control of the board and the rudeness and outright flamining can stop.
