Wunderground gives retired storms??

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Wunderground gives retired storms??

According to this link, Emily and Dennis are sure to be retired....why why don't I see Katrina? That's not even a possibility for not being retired. This list is confusing me

I agree. Katrina has a bigger lock on being retired than any other storm from last season.

I think this is more of a presumption to me....but I figured Wunderground was a much more official source then this.

Perhaps they are still debating retiring storms and Dennis and Emily where settled first, after all they are first on the list.

That's my thoughts, either that or they just flat out guessed.

Weather Underground has no authority to retire Dennis and Emily, therefore, until the WMO releases a statement, it's incorrect!

I think they already know that Katrina will be retired, they're just debating if Dennis and Emily will be retired.

No, that's not it. As I said... this was posted back in July after Emily and before Katrina. I remember reading it then.

Lol, well that goes without saying. I'm just questioning it alltogether.
