Could also mean billions of dollars in losses, and even worse a death toll!

Not something I'm hoping for AT ALL!

The few of you that want a direct hit from a major hurricane should travel to the northern Gulf Coast and see the damage and after you'd done so tell me you still want a hit from a major hurricane. If you have a family and lose someone to a storm is devastating so before you talk think about the implications.

Looks as though we will have a long, hot summer. Oh, and dry. The high has become such a familar feature in Florida in the past two seasons. In 10 years it will probably pack up and go. :bday: 8-)

My ideal season would be for no landfalling storms anywhere in the Atlantic Basin. Everyone needs a break. Not going to happen, though.

No one in the world should wish for a hurricane.
People wanting to get hit by a major hurricane- the suffering following a storm is absolutely horrific psychologically and it is like an end of everything feeling with
everything destroyed- very depressing you feel like theres no hope for recovery of your home/possessions.
so please do not wish for a hurricane because if you get it you'll regret
ever wishing and life/property/everything you know and love may get
annihilated.
