He said the seasonal snowfall deficit will most likely be close to made up, not the drought.

It's just been too dry for too long that you'll need above average precipitation for a while to help put a dent in the drought. As you know, Dennis, the damage has alredy been done, unfortunately. I'm just glad that the seasonal deficit will be close to being made up.
