bill gray says everything is pointing to another very active season...but he says it is unclear if we will see many landfalls as we did in 2005.MAX MAYFIELD WILL BE ON CBS 4 AT 6:00.

Unfortunately, boca, the answer will likely be yes, although I hope not like you. However, I am just being honest on this.

Targets this season = Texas and Florida. Just my opinion.

I hear ya.

Well over a thousand dollars to remove the destroyed trees and stumps, fix the roof (luckily we only lost about a dozen tiles, still - $350 later :/ ) and association assessment.

That's not even counting the insurance increases we all got slammed with this year.

I don't know that we can take another year like last year. I don't know how the poor guys up in Mississippi are faring. :( While it cost us money, we still have a house.

Not only that, but few - if any - of the hundreds of damaged roofs in all of southeast Florida have been repaired, if at all. Tiles damaged or destroyed from Wilma have not been repaired at all yet, and I see few signs of them being repaired rather soon.

No way I stayed after school when I was my age asking questions about the weather and climatology quite a bit. I remember when I ask my parents to pick me up late cause I was waiting for the Satelite pics to come in every like 2 or 3 hours and I was soooo excited when he printed them out I got to take them home and stick them on my wall. I used to come up with all kinds of theories including how tornadoes form and all that other kind of stuff. In fact when I was like 11 or 12 I used to call my uncle like every other day and we would talk about weather and radar pictures.

Im 15...when I was in middle school I let that get out and I got made fun of from it too...its weird, ya know? Whats so bad about it? Meteorology is a great thing to get interested in and a great job area to go for...you get to do something you reallly love to do, and get paid a lot for it too...not many jobs (at least what I think)compare to the weather...Im deciding between cartoonist and weatherguy
