It's about 11:30 EST and I'm looking outside the window. It's the first time this year I am seeing some solid east winds this late at night (I'm about 3/4 mile from the ocean).
The palms are blowing pretty good tonight, it looks alot like a summer-time pattern with some cumulous blowing in off the ocean. To think this is going to be like this for the next 7+ days in March really has me a bit uneasy. Last year we didn't have this. Of course the pattern could change for hurricane season with little ridging (hopefully).

IN THE EXTENDED PERIOD...SOUTHEAST FLOW CONTINUES RIGHT INTO MONDAY
BUT THE WINDS SHOULD VEER TO THE SOUTH ON TUESDAY AHEAD OF AN
ADVANCING COLD FRONT. MOISTURE CONTINUES TO INCREASE AND A CHANCE
OF SHOWERS FINALLY IS BACK IN THE FORECAST BEGINNING MONDAY. AT
PRESENT...00Z GFS SHOWS THE FRONT MOVING THROUGH SOUTH FLORIDA
WEDNESDAY BUT IT IS A STRUGGLE AS THE FRONT BECOMES DIFFUSE AND
FINALLY STATIONARY ACROSS THE CENTRAL BAHAMAS AND STRAITS OF
FLORIDA ON THURSDAY. THE MODELS WILL WAFFLE ON HOW FAR THE FRONT
ACTUALLY GETS FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL RUNS PROBABLY BEFORE FINALLY
COMING TO AN ANSWER. FOR THIS FORECAST WILL ACCEPT THAT IT CLEARS
THE PENINSULA WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Just maybe we might get a passsing shower but of course not a rain out.
