On Discovery Times, there's two Katrina specials from midnight to 2 a.m. EST and a special on the Galveston Hurricane of 1900 at 2 a.m.

I can NOT believe they aired that pitiful LIE that Broussard whined on Meet the Pres, when it was shown later to be a complete falsehood. Other than his fiasco, the shows were good. I particularly found the one on the Galveston storm to be quite informative... what a nightmare for those folks that must've been.

They've rebroadcast it at least twice today, as I noticed a rebroadcast on when I came home from school. If you have this channel, perhaps you can find a convenient time for the rebroadcast.

Yes I did... playing the race card...*sigh* What we need is what we've needed since Katrina all but wiped us out--- a LEADER... not a panderer.

Its going to be hard to find a leader to clean up the mess left by its predecessor. I mean who would want that job?......hopefully someone will step up before this season rolls around...

Apparently a LOT of folks what with some 23 or 25 in the race now. Unfortunately ONE of them is the guy that made a bad situation worse... and sadly, I see him making the runoff. There ARE some good folks in the race... I like this Forman Guy who did so much for the aquarium around here. And seeing how Blank-0 handled things, I've got to just wonder how differently things might've been had we had Jindal in instead of Madam deer in the headlights! We DO actually have some good folks in the pool; it's just not enough of them make it to the surface.

A leader who is really "cool" under the gun, is what we need, and who, knows? Maybe we'll get one out of this crop--but it sure won't be the one who only exacerbated things. Here's hoping.
