Interesting area at 25 south/38....

Looks to be developing over the south Atlantic. In the SST's should be warm enough under it alot more so then the extratropical low currently being discused.

The area has 27 with area's of 28c sst's under it. Down to 27 or 28 south 26c waters. Looks like we might see something possible.

There's a well-defined LLC, but there's not much convection near the center. Any idea how much shear there is in that area?

You are in the South Atlantic Ocean and to the left is the southern coast of Brazil and the northeasternmost part of Uruguay. The low seems very strong, but no transitions will occur if convection remains miles from the center.
