WOW......a chance of a SPRINKLE? :lol: Better get the BOAT ready :lol: Sad part is, "if" this does verify, ANY amount of moisture that falls will just sit on top of the ground......the ground around here is HARDER than asphalt.....seriously, I posted in another thread that I broke a tine off my rototiller over the weekend TRYING to till the soil in my vegetable garden :lol:

FXUS65 KFGZ 072051 AFDFGZ AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FLAGSTAFF AZ 200 PM MST TUE FEB 7 2006 .SYNOPSIS...HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN OVER THE WEST THROUGH MID WEEK. DAYTIME TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN SEVERAL DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH SOUTHERN ARIZONA BY THURSDAY BRINGING AN INCREASE IN CLOUDS ALONG WITH A FEW SPRINKLES OR SNOW FLURRIES FROM THE MOGOLLON RIM SOUTHWARD. && .DISCUSSION...A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN OVER THE WRN US FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. EXPECT OCCASIONAL HIGH CLOUDS ALONG WITH ABOVE NORMAL DAYTIME TEMPS. GENERALLY LIGHT WINDS NOTED TODAY BUT THERE SHOULD SOME INCREASE ON WEDNESDAY AS THE SFC PRESSURE GRADIENT STRENGTHENS. BY THURSDAY...THE CLOSED LOW CURRENTLY OVER THE EPAC WILL MOVE ACROSS NRN MX AND SRN AZ. MODEL FCSTS HAVE BEEN CONSISTENT WITH A TRACK THAT IS TOO FAR SOUTH TO PROVIDE A GOOD SETUP FOR PCPN. NONETHELESS...THE SYSTEM WILL BE CLOSE ENOUGH TO WARRANT SLIGHT CHANCES FOR SPRINKLES AND SNOW FLURRIES FOR THURSDAY NIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY MORNING FROM THE MOGOLLON RIM SOUTHWARD.

OH HEY.....I JUST this second looked at the calendar, "IF" this DOES happen and Phoenix GETS a sprinkle, not a deluge, I will "WIN THE IPOD" in the contest I posted in the Contest Forum :ggreen: :ggreen: :ggreen:

A sprinkle is not considered measureable precip. At that, it will be a stretch to anything up as far as PHX from the current system.
