Experts opinions needed !!!!!!!!

#1 Postby TheShrimper » Sat Feb 04, 2006 4:48 pm

We will be heading up to Daytona for Speedweek from Feb. 14-19, and will be camping in the infield at the speedway.
There are no utilities in the infield, and we will be in a pop up camper. I have a small generator, but not capable of powering any type of electrical heater. What are your opinions on potential temperature extremes that may face us during that time frame? I can remember waking up in a tent in there about 8 years ago to 30 degree temps. But I was younger then and could generate heat all night long...but that is not the case now. Or if there are any camper enthusiasts out there, Is burning a little LP via the stove inside safe as far as fumes? Any help wouls be appreciated. Perhaps the temps will stay in the upper 50's for lows, so this question may be ruled insignificant. Thanks again, TheShrimper.

You asked about fumes from the LP...DO NOT DO IT....Can be very deadly in a pop up camper. Consider one of the small heaters electric to be run from your gen.......
