Kansas is known for it's wacky weather. Could be 40 one day, 62 the next. It's just downright HOT in Kansas this week, that ridge is working real good, if you like the heat.
Liberal, Kansas was 97° today for a high. You think that's hot? Look at Goodland! They reached a high of 104°! That ties an all-time record high temp for that location in the Month of May!!
Today, I was shooting for an 88° here in Topeka on the forecasting contest over there last night, but it looks like it may only reach 86°. They are forecasting a 90° tomorrow, with little to no rain in sight for atleast 6-7 days.
It will finally cool down in the weekend, but loks to warm up more next week.
