Neat Digital Effects on Hurricane Pictures

#1 Postby MiamiensisWx » Fri Jan 27, 2006 4:28 pm

I just wanted to show some neat digital effects I made on two infra-red images of Hurricane Floyd from 1999. I made these effects using Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0.

Though it does look neat, you might want to shrink the one in your avatar. It's a little big.

And what filter is that on the second one? Embossed?

Cool images. That sure was a menacing looking storm as it approached Florida before turning north.

WindRunner, I used the artistic filter mode for the second one. I chose a "plastic wrap" type of filter for the second one out of the section of different artistic filters.
