Inland Low Over N. Terr., Australia... Poss. Develop.?

#1 Postby MiamiensisWx » Thu Jan 26, 2006 8:43 pm

There is a low-pressure system located over Northern Territory, Australia. Currently, it is over land; however, it is displaying good outflow and some vigorous activity. If it moves eventually offshore, could it develop?

Here it is on infra-red imagery... see it over Northern Territory? It is near the center of the picture.

By the way, is this system forecasted to move offshore eventually?
