Alaska cold moving into Canada?
I've been following the weather reports from Whitehorse, Canada the last several days because if the frigid (-46 in Fairbanks now) air starts moving into Canada it should hit Whitehorse early. It's -27 in Whitehorse right now- it wasn't forecast to be that low and it hasn't been nearly that cold in past days. Is this a sign of the long-expected shift of the cold Alaska air?

Looks like business is about to pick-up for the lower 48. The Ensembles look cold for the plains and east the first week of february.

I think it probably is. Look at this statement from the NWS. Yukon,AK had a low last night of -58F,which isn't to far from the record. I also noticed what you are talking about in Whitehorse. They are forecast a high of -4F, whereas the current temp is -24F. I just don't see them even getting close to the forecast high of -4F today, or 5F above tomorrow.
