Look at TWD this morning:

"...ITCZ CONVECTION IS RATHER ACTIVE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR."

It is looking impressive, but there's nothing really organized at this time:

Should not develop, shear about 30 kt, slightly decreasing.

Last time I wrote about an impressive system we got Zeta... ;-)

Its pretty much standard ITCZ convection although it is quite active for January.
