Bro we are covering you, your dad and the family in our prayers. During this very difficult time may the Good Lord show you his infinite Grace and Peace.

I'm sure Dennis is spending every waking moment in his father's company. When something like this happens, everything is put on hold. He will need us, when his dad passes on. Until we hear something, let's just continue to pray and hope his dad doesn't suffer. That's what I'm focusing on.
If anyone hears from Dennis, please post an update. Thanks.
Mary

Update from Dennis. Just recieved this email.
My dear friends,
The time has drawn near as I type this.......
Many of you have called and left messages and have wanted a call back, at this point I am stretched for time for phone calls, rest assured, I AM thinking of you and my HEART FELT Thank you's cannot do justice for the way I feel for you folks, you are the BEST!
Michelle and I spent the better part of the day with my father and family. All my family is currently here from places far and wide, for this I am very thankful. I will not go into details at this time but with my fathers soon to be passing, it has healed this family, a family that was broken for many months, for this, I am extremely thankful. Nothing breaks a heart like a broken family but it is healed.
Thank you for your support and continuing prayers.......the Hospice nurse was by around 1400 hrs. to access my father and he is near "crossing over", it wouldn't surprise me to see him go Home tonight to be with His Majesty in the Land that knows no time, where there are no clocks, no pain, no sorrow..........I can almost see my father, sitting on the bank of the Jordan, with his fishing pole by his side, bare feet in the water, waiting.............
God Bless,
Dennis

coriolis wrote:Dennis, when you read this, just know that we're thinking of you and your family. Reading your message, it sounds like you're be able to come to terms with this event. This is one of those "milestones" that changes us forever. After our parents have passed on, we know that we're next. That has to be a defining time of our lives. God bless you all, and may you find peace and solace through this time.
Coroilis, that is so true. I lost my father unexpectedly after Katrina. My prayers go out to azsnowman and his family.
