Bumping for any more votes to the poll from those who haven't done so yet.So far the majority has voted for January but so far it has been quiet with very hostil conditions in the basin as normal Januarys in the Atlantic tropics are.

I voted early June, but I wouldn't be too surprised at an out-of season storm this year.

I notice that a lot of people picked January in the poll. Is there something out there that I don't know about?

What draw many to vote January was the presence of Zeta. They thought that development would continue in this month but January so far after Zeta was gone has behaved like the normal Januarys in the Atlantic tropics and that is no Cyclones out there.I voted early June.

Any more votes for this poll? I may consider making a brand new poll to see how the thinking has changed about when Alberto will form.

I don't totally trust the activity gap this year, just because so far I've been misled by the 3-week gap between Beta and Gamma, and the 4-week gap between Epsilon and Zeta. I'd like to see 2006 play by the rules, although 2005 played by those rules too (Arlene formed in June)
