MOTQ

#1 Postby CajunMama » Thu Jan 05, 2006 6:01 pm

With all the activity and upheavel this past hurricane season our MOTM was inadvertently forgotten. The admins and mods put their heads together and we've decided to combine August, September, October and November into one MOTQ (Member of the Quarter)! We'll get back on track with the December MOTM soon.

So...announcing our first (and hopefully only) MOTQ...drumroll please :band:

All our members who survived Katrina, Rita and Wilma! Congratulations!!!!! :woo: Congratulations!!!

Why, thank you!

My experience with Wilma was nowhere near as life-threatening as that of those in the paths of Rita or Katrina -- the structural damage to my house was only ~$50,000 and my family was safe. But Wilma was more destructive than anyone had expected it would be.

How loving of S2K to honor all its family members who lived the reality of this amazing season!

Congrats to all of you - you are our heroes! Our hearts were in our throats and many prayers were said for everyone caught in Katrina's path or deeply affected, I wish only the very best for each and every one of you!
