I only saw one movie in the theaters in 2005, so it has to be Memoirs of a Geisha.

Aeon Flux was a HORRIBLE movie. It made no real sense...I fell asleep halfway through the movie.

War of the Worlds. Terrible script and special affects. I drifted off to sleep a couple of times which was difficult. It was one of those restaurant-movie theatre places with club chairs which are very uncomfortable.

I started a thread about this subject!

http://www.storm2k.org/phpbb2/viewtopic ... 18&start=0

"Open Water" and "Edges of the Lord", both very disappointing. One with virtually no message, the other with a message, but what a way to tell it.

Next would be Bill Murray's movie, 2 times ago...forget the title. I'm done with his movies right now - very odd!

Yeah, just after seeing the preview of that movie, I've had a bad case of "Aeon Reflux".

War of the Worlds has to be at the top of that list. What a stupid movie. Did no justice to the story.

King Kong.

Ugh, that movie was so long and boring. It ran off-topic too many times, it was more like Jurassic Park than King Kong.

My kids loved Napolean Dynomite! Missed that post I guess...... Sometimes movies are a little out there or outside the box. People either love it or hate it.

Take "I Heart Huckabees" - we enjoyed that movie.

Same with "Sideways".

But I know people who hated both (Sideways/Huckabees!).

It was an old movie... King Kong Escapes... absolutely horrible movie. My friend was possessed by the insane urge to watch all the King Kong movies and I was part of the collateral damage.

Awe War of The Worlds was a pretty good movie, but Tom Cruise...never cared much for him.

I heard King Kong got bad reviews...but all my friends said it was good..but INSANELY long. Peter Jackson is awsome, but I dont think he is going to do as good as he did with Lord of The Rings.

I enjoyed Aeon Flux, King Kong, War of the Worlds, & Memoirs of a Geisha. The one that had me cringing was the stupid Will Smith animated fish movie. I cant even remember the name. It was SO dumb.

On the fish movie, alicia-w, do you mean Shark Tale or Finding Nemo?
