Can't select new avatar from our gallery

I keep getting this error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: phpbb_ltrim() in /home2/y98s2k19/public_html/phpbb2/includes/usercp_avatar.php on line 70

I've been trying to change it for a couple of days now :(

I wonder if it's due to damage caused by the hacker?

Yes that's the cause.The admins are working to restore this to normal but it will take some time so hang there with those christmas ones.
