I just received by mail and viewed this DVD produced by Mark Sudduth. The images are incredible and really heart-breaking. I feel pretty lucky here in SE Florida since damage caused by Katrina and Wilma aren't in any way comparable to the one caused by Katrina and Rita in the gulf states. Life here is pretty much back to its normal rhythm, unfortunately there are still many, hundred of thousands homeless in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and other areas.
To remember is to relive and this DVD is a testament for future generations to never forget that we don't control nature but nature control us!
TO ALL, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Texas too.
Many haven't returned to the area and others are living in tents or living with relatives, etc.
Talking with everyone all the time and reading stories is just heartbreaking. I've got damage and suffered quite a bit financially, but at least I've got a roof over my head!
I need to get one of those DVD's. Since I didn't evacuate far enough north and lost power Friday evening, I missed all of the coverage back in my hometown and surrounding areas, even where I was. Maybe I can see some of it on there.
This is a very weird feeling this Christmas...kinda surreal, like did a hurricane really hit here? Did all of this devastation really happen in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, etc.? Maybe I'll wake up and everything will be like it used to be.
I'm more grateful for what I have than ever before though, and it's definitely a less materialisitc Christmas. At least that's a good thing.

Yep, I recieved my copy on Wednesday, if you watch the Ophelia part, you get to see me for about a second or two, but you get to see my truck for about 15 to 30 seconds, last year there was a whole section involved with the HLP Isuzu Rodeo, so you got to see me a bunch of times in that, it is a very good dvd, just wish he had put the section things on the menu, it makes it alot easier to view it, because the first thing I wanted to view of course was the Ophelia section...lol
