Same here - right handed but my watch has to go on my left wrist. Always!
Another question could be:
Is the watch face on the inside of your wrist or outside? Some people like to wear their watch almost backwards, I've never been able to do that (inside). Guess it's what you get used to.
But no matter, if I forget to put my watch back on after a shower, I'm constantly looking at my wrist for the time. Wearing a watch can be addicting!

dizzyfish - I hear ya. I've discovered you're either a faithful watch wearer or you're not. I even sleep with mine on and if I leave home w/o it on, it drives me crazy too. After getting back home, it's almost always the first thing I do - put it back on. Anymore there just aren't clocks on display in stores, malls or even our home! We've tried battery operated wall clocks but they malfunction after a while. You have to squint to see it at the VCR. Our microwave clock loses time, between 5 and 10 and you're always resetting it. So I just delete the whole clock part. I am THE watch/clock in this house, unless someone flips open their cell or turns on their laptop!

Left arm, to the outside; when I was a commercial artist, it was worn on the inside of my wrist (no wasted motion to see the time, while at my drafting table).
My "new" watch needs a new battery, too; and I am still hunting for a mechanical D-H Wehrmachtsdienstuhr (German Army service watch) to add to my collection. My "atomic watch" died about a year ago; it was too expensive to repair.

No...during one of my earlier accidents this year (falling down), the watch broke on the edge of the stair leading into the kitchen.
