Christmas Carols for the Psychiatrically Challenged (Humor)

#1 Postby Dee Bee » Mon Dec 05, 2005 2:02 pm

Since I take meds for anxiety disorder/depression, I can laugh at this seasonal oldie-but-goodie! :D

CHRISTMAS CAROLS FOR THE PSYCHIATRICALLY CHALLENGED

Schizophrenia --- "Do You Hear What I Hear?"

Multiple Personality Disorder --- "We Three Kings Disoriented Are"

Dementia --- "I Think I'll be Home for Christmas"

Narcissism --- "Hark the Herald Angels Sing about Me"

Mania --- "Deck the Halls and Walls and House and Lawn and Streets and Stores and Offices and Towns and Cars and Busses and Trucks and Trees and Fire Hydrants and..."

Paranoia --- "Santa Claus is Coming to Get Me"

Borderline Personality Disorder --- "Thoughts of Roasting on an Open Fire"

Personality Disorder --- "You Better Watch Out: I'm Gonna Cry, I'm Gonna Pout, Maybe I'll Tell You Why"

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder ---"Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells..."

:D - reminds me of my daughter when she was one - she sang Jingle Bells, but never got beyond the phrase "Jingle Bells"

This year she is six, and trying to sing "The Twelve Days of Christmas" all of the time; except she can't remember most of them . . . I love listening to the alternatives she comes up with!! The one that is always the same is "a partridge in a pantry" :D  :D I hope no one tells her it is a pear tree 'cause it is so cute the way she says it.

That's gotta be so cute about the 12 days

I love the 12 days.. There are so many different ways it can be paraphrased instead of the original..
