Your right Dixie. If it were Aug. there would be trouble. Have a nice holidays you all remember when the contractor ask for an advance say NO ADVANCE.

This doesn't really look like July. Here is some convection there, but it gives the appearance that it is highly disorganized.

Almost all of it is below 10º, which means in any part of the season it wouldn't have much chance of doing anything. I have to admit it does look active.

A premature CV season...we'll have to see SSTs and shear conditions
and trough conditions in Jan....
IMO won't happen but you never know....:eek:

I would not be surprised to see a tropical system form towards year end or at the very beginning and I am strongly considering forecasting this in the next day or so. Not sure whether CV though.

Well here goes my first post.
Just because we have set the hurricane season as June 1 thru November 30th doesn't necessarily mean that nature will always act on our timeframe. O_o
It's pretty unlikely though.

Well like I mentioned I was only thinking about making it at this point and time. I need to do some more research. I will post something if I think it will occur. Just like I might forecast a snowstorm for the NE and Midatlantic.
