27 with heavy frost at my house in NW Houston, TX!

ADDED AT 5PM: My neighbor's banana trees are all dead after the frost/freeze. All the leaves are now brown and black. There was no freeze warning, so they were probably not prepared in covering them...mistake by the NWS; they should have issued one, because even IAH reported a freeze!
